On October 1, 2017, I visited the planet Pr for the first time. I returned nearly nine months later to see what, if anything, had changed. As has happened elsewhere, the base had moved, excavating itself and then siting itself on the other side of the planet above ground. This base, however, was no amazing architectural feat. It was merely as generic base unit with a save unit outside. This left me wondering if I was looking at a deconstructed build, if the player was having a joke, or if this was a newish base on an older planet. I could find no earlier pictures of the base to see if that was true, and the communication stations (most of which remain buried) did not provide the clues they typically do. The main question I have is why there were so many comm stations surrounding the old base site. I’ve only seen 30+ comm balls on a handful of occasions at major sites, so what was so special about Pr?
In the composite image below, note how the base unit’s flag icon floats above it, but later retreats inside the base itself. I can’t tell if this was glitched, or if it reflected the original placement of the base unit, perhaps in a tower. I’m afraid I’ll never know.
One other thing of note: I found the first example of spam-in-space, with one Waypoint renamed to a “free” bitcoin website. I can’t tell if the player was joking or not.

As of June 20, 2018, the base has moved from its original site (as evidenced by the cluster of communication stations elsewhere on the planet), and now sits in a crater, a single, generic base unit with a Save unit just outside the door. This may be the original base design because some comm stations joke about it being “minimalist.”
I visited on October 1, 2017, when the base was at its original location. Interestingly, it (and most of the communication stations) was buried under the bedrock. Revisiting on June 20, 2018, the base had relocated itself, but the comm balls remained, most under bedrock, but some messages broadcast up from beneath the surface. One floating cluster of three comm balls suggested a mountain-climb. A single comm ball floated a half-hour away, while another single station sat buried one day west of the base’s new location. The original base site retained a cluster of 38 comm stations arranged in a semicircle, with my NMS Archaeology station marking the original site precisely.

Interesting read. Plenty of questions unanswered. There’s another bitcoin comms suspended high in the air close to the portal on Drogradur.
