Two sources of delight make Panda’s Legacy Hub base noteworthy. First is the presence of an alpha-class Explorer-type ship, wrecked in the deep desert, marked by a floating communication station indicating an ancient topography. Another comm station marks where a beta-class Hauler-type shipwreck used to be, but the ship is either long-gone or long-buried thanks to the v1.3 update. The second oddity is the Sentinel trapped in the botany bay of the base, something I have never before encountered.

Oriented roughly north-south, Panda’s base is a simple, two-level farm. To the south, geobays for the three types of exocraft are immediately outside the single landing pad connected to the upper level. The base is double-stacked with the core base unit at the bottom, topped by a round room, both opening onto long corridors to a two-level hydroponic farm.
The lower level hosts a Trade Terminal (“H/94G-Y96”) and three aisles between rows of plants. From west-east:
Row 1: 9 Star Brambles and one empty hydroponic tray
Row 2: 12 Star Brambles
Row 3: 12 Echinocactus
Row 4: 12 Frostwort
Row 5: 12 Solar Vines
The upper level contains two aisles. From west-east:
Row 1: 12 empty hydroponic trays
Row 2: 1 Coprite Flower, 5 Mordite Roots, and 6 Fungal Clusters
Row 3: 6 Frostwort and 6 Solar Vines
During my June 9, 2018, visit, a Sentinel flying droid was trapped in the upper level and flew between the rows of produce.
On the morning of June 9, 2018, no communication stations appeared even though several had been reported via Syn1334. Online Services were active. However later that day nine comm stations appeared in five locations across the planet. One marked a rare, alpha-class 29-slot Explorer ship, which I repaired and now use as my primary vessel.
