The excavation of the “Atari Burial Ground” happened back in April 2014, and the team of archaeologists continues to write about it. Team member Bill Caraher blogged “Objects, Media, and Moviemaking: Narrating the Alamogordo Atari Expedition” today, and it’s well worth the read. He plans on publishing this formally soon, and has given me permission to link to his work. I’ll be writing up more of the data in the next few months for publication as well, specifically details of the inventory recovered, and the subsequent eBay sales (and re-sales).
