I spent the past few days collecting all of the published archaeogaming scholarship I could find: articles, chapters, books that have to do with archaeology/history and digital/video games, with a few entries on pedagogy and a couple on historical tabletop/board games. As of March 11, 2017, the list contains 66 citations starting with two articles from Ethan Watrall in 2002.
